TRIP HIGHLIGHTS & ITINERARY

The two days of this Tehran Tour will allow you to explore the capital of Iran and learn from local guides who grew up in the city and are knowledgeable about its history, culture, and major attractions. You will visit the key locations in Tehran and the UNESCO World Heritage listed areas of the city as well.

Tour Details:

Day 1 Tehran

Your guide will meet you at Imam Khomeini International Airport where you will be taken to your hotel for an early check in and breakfast. After breakfast, you will drive into the center of Tehran to visit Iran’s largest museum known as the National Museum of Iran.

Then you will make your way to the Golestan Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and then take a journey on foot through Tehran’s Grand Bazaar (you will have lunch in a local restaurant) and then make your way to the Azadi Tower for a brief picture opportunity and then return to the hotel after a long day of touring.

Overnight in Tehran

Day 2 Tehran

Following breakfast, you will check out of your hotel before driving to Saad Abad Palace (which is part the Pahlavi dynasty), the most beautiful palace in Tehran. You will hike 20 minutes along Darband Mountain before enjoying delicious traditional food at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Afterwards, if your flight permits, you may travel to Milad Tower, Iran’s tallest tower, which offers breathtaking views of Tehran’s skyline. Then we will transfer you to the airport so that you can depart Iran.
