10-Day Northern Iran Tour: Discover the beauty of Northern Iran on this amazing 10-day journey. Experience the exciting city of Tehran; breathtaking green forests along the Caspian Sea; and Awe Inspiring ancient ruins in Azerbaijan with incredible geological formations. Itinerary Details:

Day 1                    Tehran

Arrive in Tehran in the morning and meet your guide then transfer to the restaurant to have breakfast then you will go central part of Tehran to visit Golestan palace in the morning and also walk through Tehran grand bazaar you can have lunch somewhere in Bazar and drive back to the hotel for check-in in the afternoon you can have free time and have dinner in the hotel.

Day 2                    Tehran / Qazvin / Rasht

Upon checking out of your hotel and packing up your luggage, drive towards Rasht, stopping off at Azadi Tower on the way to tour the exterior of the tower by taking photos. After leaving Azadi Tower you will be heading further towards Qazvin City for lunch at a local eatery in the Qazvin Grand Bazaar. From here you can continue your travel and venture over to Sepah Street, the first street in Iran, and visit the Old Traditional Hamam, all as long as you have ample time before continuing on to your next stop, Manjil. When finished at Manjil you will then head back towards Rasht City for the afternoon at Shahrdari Square located in downtown Rasht.

Day 3                    Rasht / Siahkal / Lahijan

After eating breakfast, start your journey by driving toward the city of Siahkal (the only day of the week for visiting local markets), continuing your drive on a winding road through the Titi Caravansary, which is next to the location of where Lonak Waterfall is located. Continue traveling to the city of Lahijan to enjoy two of the most beautiful mountains in Iran, Bame Sabz Mountain and Shytan Kuh Mountain, as time allows while there. While in Lahijan, you may take time to enjoy the nearby lake and sample some of Lahijan’s local tea.

Day 4                    Rasht / Masoule

After finishing breakfast, we will head to Rudkhan Castle, which is located in a forest area. While we are at Pau Castle we will be visiting various historical areas in the village so you will have plenty of time to explore, relax and enjoy your vacation.

Once you are done exploring Rudkhan Castle, you will get back into your vehicle and drive to Masoule, which is a traditional Persian village that is known for its mud houses and amazing natural beauty throughout its many gardens. Masoule can be a little tricky to navigate due to the fact that the colors of all the buildings are very similar to each other, but again this is part of the character of the area. If you plan to stay at one of the hotels in Masoule make sure that you bring along your hotel business card and get a good idea of where to go if you happen to lose your way.

Day 5                    Masoule / Ardebil

Breakfast is the most common meal eaten in hotels, and breakfast eaten at a local person’s home offers a unique experience regarding food and culture. After breakfast, you will go to the Anzali Lagoon where you can enjoy the scenery from the shores. If you visit during peak season, boat rides will be available. After exploring the lagoon, you will travel to a small area adjacent to the Caspian Sea where you will have lunch and take photos of the largest body of water in the world. Finally, you will drive toward Ardabil and stop at Gardane Heyran.

Day 6                    Ardebil / Tabriz

The following morning you will visit the Tomb of Sheikh Safi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Shoorabil Lake. Following a leisurely walk around the area adjacent to the lake, you will continue your journey to your next city, Tabriz.

Day 7                    Tabriz

You will begin our journey today with a tour of Tabriz City by first visiting the Azerbaijan Museum and the Blue Mosque, both of which are located a short distance from the city center. From there, we can walk to the Clock Tower. After we visit the Clock Tower, we will have a chance to explore Tabriz Grand Bazaar, the largest covered bazaar in Iran. Finally, we will finish our tour at Elgoli Park and stop for lunch at one of the local restaurants.

Day 8                    Tabriz / Kandovan

Following breakfast today, you will drive to Kandovan Village, where you will have an opportunity to explore this fascinating village and then check into your rock hotel later in the day to enjoy some free time.

Day 9                    Tabriz / Zanjan / Tehran

To break up the long drive from Tabriz to Tehran, we will stop for lunch in Zanjan City and visit the local bazaar. In Zanjan City, there will also be an opportunity to view the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Soltaniyeh Dome. After our tour of Zanjan City, we will continue on our journey to Tehran, arriving later in the day.

Day 10                    Tehran ( Departure)

In the morning you will drive to SaadAbad palace and Darband mountain according to your flight time you will be transferred to Imam Khomeini airport.
